Chapter Z is still in need of MAD liaisons. A liaison is simply someone that's willing to help Lynn with activities that she plans. She will need ZRiders to project a positive image for Motorcyclists at the Customer Appreciation Bike/Car Show at United Community Bank and also at the MAD booth for the Health Fair in August.
As you can see from above, Lynn has been striving to get our message out there. B-2 in Douglasville and Chapter Z will be represented at the United Community Bank event. This is an incredible opportunity to touch alot of the motoring community that wouldn't normally stop at a "Bike Show". B-2 will be handing out literature, both B-2 and Z will have members representing motorcyclists and presenting a positive image and also helpful information. We realize that it's on a Friday and there are lots of us that work on Friday, but those that are available for the bike show are appreciated.
The next major event that is planned for MAD will be in August. The date hasn't been set by Piedmont Fayette Hospital, but Lynn is working on and planning for the health fair. We're already requesting literature to be handed. If there is something that you think should be shared with the public, then please get involved. Our goal is not to "blast" them with what not to do, rather to make them more aware of our presence. Once they become more aware of us, they will adjust the way they drive. It's a gradual process, but well worth the effort it takes.
